Today is the start of the Jewish New Year, which is also known as Rosh Hashanah.

This year the celebration runs from Sunday, October 2 through Tuesday, October 4.

What is Rosh Hashanah?

Rosh Hashanah, meaning,  ‘the head of the year’ and  is the Jewish New Year.

So make sure to  say “Shana Tova”, which is Hebrew for ‘a good year’ to your Jewish friends.
