Go Go Power Rangers, it’s “It’s Morphin Time!”

Power Rangers. a series created by Haim Saban, started to air on August 28th, 1993. Can you believe it’s been that long already? Hasbro established National Power Rangers Day on August 28, 2018, to help celebrate the Power Rangers 25th anniversary!

Power Rangers is an American entertainment franchise built around a live-action superhero television series, based on the Japanese tokusatsu franchise Super Sentai.

Each Power Ranger had a color. Which one was your favorite, red, yellow, pink, black, blue or green? Power Rangers encouraged diversity, inclusivity, and teamwork and they worked together to fight off evil. Diversity was always an important part of the show.

  • Power Rangers is the second longest-running non-soap opera scripted program on American TV after “The Simpsons.” 
  • There are over 830 episodes.
  • has been translated into several language around the world.
  • In the 2017 feature film included one of the first Ranger on the Autism spectrum.
  • Austin St. John, Walter Jones, Thuy Trang, and Jason David Frank were all martial artists before being on the Power Ranger show. Amy Jo Johnson and David Yost were gymnasts.

  • Billy Cranston, the Blue Power Ranger, played by David Yost, is to date, the only Power Ranger to hold the same position for the longest time at three years, from 1993-1996 without ever switching colors.
  • Kimberly Ann Hart played by Amy Jo Johnson is currently the longest-serving female Power Ranger and Pink Ranger of all time appearing in in 137 episodes before she left.
  • In a viewer contest held by ABC Family, Jason Lee Scott (Austin St. John) was voted by fans as the greatest Red Ranger of all time.
